The 35,000 square foot, 30-unit affordable housing project is located in Gloucester, MA. It includes four ground-level retail tenant spaces, and other amenity spaces. The project received its final certification from PHIUS+ 2018 CORE standard. Design work was started on this project in 2016 and at that time, Passive House certification was not included in the scope. In 2018, the developer decided to pursue certification and Petersen Engineering was chosen to perform the WUFI Passive Energy Modeling and to serve as the Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) for the project.
