The new residence hall will be a model of sustainable construction, pursuing Passive House certification and incorporating all-electric systems, triple-glazed windows and a rooftop solar PV array. The design is led by Boston-based William Rawn Associates, and it will be constructed by Dimeo serving as the construction project manager.
This transformational campus development project will be located on the University’s lower campus, and will add 631 beds, housing both undergraduate and summer program students. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
